We favor peer-reviewed research, official rules, filings and original reporting. Anything volatile—prices, programs, regulations, formulas, schedules—is dated and refreshed close to publication.
EDITORIAL STANDARDS
Proof before premise.
The research should make the article harder to dismiss. The voice should make it impossible to confuse with anyone else’s.
Experience is not proof
Hands-on use is labeled as hands-on use. Research is labeled as research. One good week does not become a durability claim, and one personal result does not become a promise for everybody.
The catch belongs near the verdict
Price, upkeep, evidence gaps, a narrow use case or a punitive return policy can change the answer. We do not save the disqualifying detail for the footnotes.
Commerce can enter the room
It cannot rearrange the furniture. No company can buy a place on The North List. Affiliate links may pay us. They do not get a vote. Gifts, loans, discounts and hosted experiences are disclosed close to the relevant recommendation.
Corrections and updates
Material corrections are dated. Verdicts can change when products, ownership, prices, evidence or longer use changes. Disliking the conclusion is not a factual error.
AI and human review
AI may assist with research organization, transcription, comparison or production. Jude remains responsible for the question, evidence, judgment, voice and final publication. No generated claim bypasses human review.
